Busy renovation companies find it time consuming to create quotations and variation orders quickly with existing tools like Excel. Disorganized and unsystematic trade pricing and cost estimation is common across the industry. Offset allows you to cut the time it takes to do a quotation from a few hours to 30 minutes or less. It also allows you to better manage your expenses, profit and loss, invoicing and company finances as a whole from one easy-to-use platform.
Think of Offset as the structure that you can build your renovation business on top of. It will totally change the way you run your company, make you way more efficient and allow you to scale much more easily than if you had done things the traditional way.
Excel is a popular way for renovation companies to build quotations, keep track of costs and manage projects. While very convenient to use, it has its downsides too.
Its very time consuming to make changes as there is a lot of manual inputs involved.
Its easy to make mistakes (such as not adding up your total costs properly).
Its difficult to have consistency from one person to the next (or even between different quotations from the same person). So the quotations that a company sends out do not have standardized formatting, wording and pricing.
There is no linkage between different documents for the project. Quotations, VOs, invoices and cost tracking all require a lot of duplication of work.
There is no overall control over the company’s projects and finances. This again requires an admin staff doing a lot of manual inputs to coordinate.
Offset solves all these issues by integrating everything into one cohesive platform, allowing you to scale your company easily.
The pricebook and template system makes building quotations and VOs super-fast. Once it’s been set up (which we can help you with), everything is automated for you and making changes to anything is super quick and fuss free.
Since the platform does all the work for you, you will never need to worry about not adding up costs properly and several other easy-to-miss formatting mistakes ever again. Your documentation will come out perfect every time with minimal effort from you.
